Zero Credibility

…To Live Again As a Servant of Darkness. This is the last Nordvargr’s album which was released by the Brazilian label Essence Music and which I found today morning in my postbox when going to work. Well, surprisingly Nordvargr still impresses me by fresh sound. Having so much releases one might think that musician might exhaust, but no, this doesn’t applies to this evil viking. On this album the noises are mostly guitar but done in such an evilvargr proper way you’ll want to listen to this CD again and again. This happened to me today, when I worked I listened to this album non stop all day and still want more. Highly recommended piece of evil sounds.

Finally got two Coldspring releases: Sistrenatus – “Division One”. This is rather interesting mix of martial with power electronics. Sometimes music is just pure harsh noise, then it moves to something more rhythmic with military drums, then it all blends together into powerful mix. The final track is culmination of this idea and my fave on this unfortunately very short CD. Hopefully, next release of this promising act will be more lengthy and no less interesting.

Second CD is long awaited second volume of collaborative work of two industrial giants Nordvargr and Merzbow – “Partikel II”. This one is more cruel to the ear, especially first track which destroys last brain cells with no mercy. I see Merzbow influence there is more sharp than on the first volume. Other tracks are more dark and voidy, still with some electro rhythmic elements that adds something new to the project. I’m waiting for the Partikel III now ;)
